West Brom striker Shane Long hopes he can finally scores against Swansea City after failing to in 3 games last season.
Long was part of the Reading team that also got to the Championship Play-Off Final last season.

As part of that team though, he suffered two 1-0 defeats against the Swans before they lost 4-2 in the Play-Off Final.
After failing to score against us last season, he’s now hoping to break that bad run of form on Saturday when Roy Hodgson’s West Brom side visit the Liberty Stadium.
‘In the second half of last season at Reading we played unbelievably well to even get into the top six,’
‘Once we got there we set our sights on Wembley and went to Cardiff in the second leg of the semi-final after drawing at home and managed to win there.
‘We thought after that it was just a case of winning at Wembley.
‘Being 3-0 down at half-time was hard to take but we can always look back and say we gave it a shot in the second half and were unlucky.
‘We knew Swansea were a very good side but we thought we could deal with them.
‘I remember at home we battered them and lost 1-0, at their place we could have won by three or four and still lost 1-0!
‘They’re a good passing team, especially in the Championship where there aren’t many teams that pass like them.
‘In the Premier League I think we’ll be more prepared for a team like that.
‘They did seem to have the hoodoo over Reading last season and I’d love to score against them and it be the winning goal.
‘But like against every other team, you just want to go out there and get three points.’
Long also thinks the Swans will do well in the Premier League this season:
‘Danny Graham is a good goalscorer and has had an unlucky start to the season,’
‘He has done everything right but the ball’s just not hit the back of the net.
‘Every striker knows how that feels.
‘I’m sure he’ll be gunning for us tomorrow to get off the mark.
‘I think Swansea will do well this year because their style of play is more suited to the Premier League.
‘I think they’re very confident on the ball.
‘They don’t score too many goals but they always score enough to win the game.
‘They were unlucky at Arsenal last week.
‘One mistake cost them the game and that’s the way it is in the Premier League.
‘You’ve got to be at it for 90-plus minutes.
‘They’ll see that as being hard done to last week and will want to put it right this week, so we’ll have to be on our toes.’
Long also played under Brendan Rodgers when he was manager at Reading, but after a poor run of results at the Madjeski Stadium, he was sacked in December after just 6 months.
‘He came into Reading and tried to change our whole philosophy,’
‘It was a year or two job and he didn’t get time to do it.
‘He moved onto Swansea, which is more suited to his style and he’s shown what a good manager he is.
‘He’s got them to the Premier League.
‘He’s a good manager, a great coach and I wish him all the best.
‘Every manager I’ve played under has taught me something different and it was definitely good for me working under him.
‘Even though it was only for five or six months I did learn a lot in that time.’
