Swansea City continued their unbeaten run in their friendlies with a 3-0 win against Llanelli at Stebonheath Park this evening.

There was a healthy crowd of around 2,000 to witness the game in terrible drenched conditions.

The game was delayed by 15 mins due to supporters getting into the ground.

The Reds started the brighter with some good passing moves.

Swansea city did not start well but the deadlock was broken after Anderson surged forward and his pass found Kristian O’Leary in space to slot home from 15 yards.

The second half started with Swansea pressing Llanelli . Mayol picked up the ball in the centre circle and distributed it to Thiam with a well weighted pass that set Thaim clear in on goal.

Thaim was one on one with the Gk and coolly slotted the ball through the goalkeepers legs to make it 2-0 . The 3rd goal came from the penalty spot when Robinson was upended in the box and immediately referee Kerry Morgan pointed to the spot.

Robinson took advantage of the opportunity and fired the Swans into a 3-0 lead.

The Swans were unlucky to not go 4-0 up with what has to be the move of the game and a great solo effort by Joe Allen.

Picking the ball up half way into the Swansea half surged past his marker and into the box and with 5 Llanelli defenders around him but was jostled off the ball should have been penalty number 2.

Darryl Duffy went off injured during the game with some sort of strain but hopefully he won’t be out for too long.

Final Score 3-0.
