Confirmed team line-ups and match stats as Swansea City hope to make it two wins in two away at Stoke City this evening (7:45 pm).
Bennett, Fulton and Smith return for the Swans as Manning serves a suspension, Naughton misses out through injury and Paterson has to settle for a place on the bench.
There are three ex-Swans amongst Stoke’s matchday squad, two of them starting. Clucas is on the bench, Joe Allen starts as captain for the hosts and former loanee Wilmot also makes the starting eleven.
There’s no place matchday squad place for new left wing-back signing Nathaneal Ogbeta and Manchester City loan signing centre-back Finley Burns is amongst the substitutes.
First Half
A disappointing opening 45 minutes from the Swans. We’ve only had 40% possession which is unlike us but we’ve barely managed an effort on goal while the hosts have had 10 shots. Stoke have made it difficult for us trying to play the ball out from the back but we too are complicating things and really struggling to string two passes together.
Struggling to string 2 passes together so far. Stoke making life difficult for us in our own half but there's no route forward. Fulton now in a very unfamiliar left attacking midfield role.

Martin's got to be making a change at half time at least. It's not working at all. We can't play out, leaving gaps in too many areas and we can't find a way to even get in their half. There's no one near Obafemi.

Second Half
Swansea City conceded an early second-half goal after making a change that saw Piroe coming on for Smith. It went from bad to worse after that as a poor pass out from Cabango led to the second goal, a penalty and Bennett’s straight red for a handball. A third goal later came against ten-men and it was a disaster of an evening for Russell Martin’s side.
