Graham Potter has named his first competitive Swansea City line-up as his side kick off their 2018/19 campaign with a tricky trip to Sheffield United.
The main news is that van der Hoorn takes the armband from Federico Fernandez who starts, while Jordi Amat has to settle for a place on the bench.
Olsson starts after his World Cup spell with Sweden and extended break. New signings Celina, Asoro and McKay start – Dhanda is on the bench.
Naughton doesn’t feature so we don’t have a back-up right back available, nor do we have another striker so you can still see the areas that need strengthening. You also can’t ignore the lack of options in the centre of the midfield as well.
Swansea City
Nordfeldt, Roberts, van der Hoorn (c), Fernandez, Olsson, Fulton, Carroll, Celina, Asoro, McKay, McBurnie.
Subs: Mulder, Grimes, Amat, Montero, Dhanda, Rodon, Dyer.

Fans Reaction
Positive line up. Note VdH captain, not Fede. No Naughton whatsoever. No Narsingh or Ayew either. Clues to departures this week. Come on #Swans https://t.co/7KfR3GVOEx

Best side we could've picked . New players needed but can only pick from what we have
