Fantasy Football is a game that tests your managerial skills and ability to spot good players.

The World Cup, European Championships and Premiership always seem to have one, but as far as we’re aware, this League One competition is pretty unique.

And it couldn’t really be simpler.

All you have to do is be registered with the Vital Network and pick your team.

Rules:

You must pick 11 players in a 442 formation. This side MUST include one goalkeeper, two full-backs, two centre backs, four midfielders and two strikers. Positions of players will be determined by the League organisers.

You can pick two players from two League One clubs, but one of these MUST be the one you support. The other seven players have to be from seven other clubs. For example, if you are a Gills fan, you can’t have two Forest and two Bristol City players in my team. You can have two from Forest and nine others, or two from Forest and two from the Gills.

Points will be scored using this system:

Full appearance: +2 points
Part appearance: +1 point
Goal: +5 points
Assist: +3 points
Clean sheet (defenders and keeper only): +5 points for the whole game, +3 for part.
Goal conceded (defenders and keeper only): -1 point
Yellow card: -2 points
Red card: -5 points.

Points will be scored in League One matches from Friday September 1 only.

Managers will be allowed 8 transfers to be taken at any point during the season.

Please send your teams to either your own Vital Editor (editor@swansea.vitalfootball.co.uk) or editor@gillingham.vitalfootball.co.uk by Thursday August 31.
