Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup gives his thoughts ahead of Saturday’s trip to Fulham.

The Dane says he’s happy with the way things are going so far, as they currently sit in 9th place in the League table as they look forward to a tough second half of the campaign.

Many other clubs will look to strengthen in the New Year and Laudrup is no different, with a striker likely to be at the top of targets list.

“It`s a busy period from mid-December to February – it`s not only these ten days, because we then go into three games in six days with the two cups and league matches.

“But we are happy with the way things are going.”

After a rather disappointing goalless draw at Reading on Boxing Day, the Swans will aim to go one better at Craven Cottage on Saturday, but Laudrup says it’ll be tough, not only without Michu, but he says they have quality and firepower up front with Berbatov.

“They have quality,”

“They started very well but in the last few months they have only won once in 11 – but there are five draws in there.

“They want to play, and they let you play as well. We have to take advantage of that.

“Berbatov has a lot of quality. If he is having a good day then they will be very difficult to beat. If he is not having a good day then you have possibilities.”
