Sky Sports are this evening reporting that Swansea City are set to unveil Danish legend Michael Laudrup as their new manager.

We reported yesterday that his appointment could be close as he has had talks with the club recently about the job, and that it came down to various aspects including budgets and personal terms as to whether or not he would agree to take over at the Liberty Stadium.

Sky Sports believe that terms have been agreed following meetings between both Laudrup and chairman Huw Jenkins in Cyprus whilst he’s been on holiday there.

Hopefully the news will be confirmed tomorrow and I’m sure if it is then the majority of Swansea City fans will be pleased with the appointment, as few supporters preferred the other options available – Blackpool’s Ian Holloway and Wigan Athletic assistant Graeme Jones.

More to follow soon?.
