John Jensen says he would consider teaming up again with new Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup to take up a coaching role at the Liberty Stadium.

The former Arsenal and Denmark midfielder worked with Laudrup when he was manager at Brondby and Getafe. Last season, he was assistant to Steve Kean at Blackburn Rovers before he left in September 2011.

There have been rumours already that Jensen will be a part of Laudrup’s new backroom staff, but he told Sky Sports News that he hasn’t been offered a role yet by Laudrup.

‘I would consider it a lot if he asked me to go with him,’

‘Of course if Michael wants me to come and I have a chance, I will definitely have a thought about it as the best league to work in is the Premier League.

‘I tried it at Blackburn and I am quite keen to come back to England and try again.’

‘I don’t know yet,’ [when asked if he’d be Laudrup’s assistant]

‘It is quite early days as Michael only signed a contract yesterday [on Friday].’
