Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has warned those clubs interested in Darren Pratley that the midfielder is ‘not for sale’.

There have been reports lately linking previous Swans manager Roberto Martinez with a 2.5m bid for Pratley, but Jenkins insists they are rumours and nothing more at this stage.

‘Darren is under contract and is not for sale it’s as simple as that.

‘This rumour is complete fabrication.

‘There will always be rumours flying about at this time, and we are used to all this speculation now.

‘But that’s all it is.’

‘Myself and Paulo (Sousa) are busy discussing the size of the squad at the moment,’ added Jenkins.

‘We are not looking at selling the likes of Darren, who has continued to improve this season along with the club.

‘There’s lots to be done before the end of May, but letting our top players go is not part of the plan.’

Swansea City face a tough job this Summer to keeping our star players like Darren Pratley and fellow midfielder Leon Britton who is out of contract, and considering a new contract offer from the Swans.
