Idrizaj has received international clearance from the German FA and has now completed his move to Swansea City.

The signing was announced on Saturday but the 21 year-old couldn’t complete the move until he was given clearance from the German FA after playing for FC Eilenburg last season.

The 21 year-old attacking midfielder has signed a 2 year contract with the Swans and he is now available for selection in tomorrow’s Carling Cup 2nd round match at home to Scunthorpe United.

The Austrian will wear the number 40 shirt and boss Paulo Sousa was delighted with his second signing:

‘We are delighted that he has signed,’

‘He is a player I have been aware of from his time at Liverpool and with the Austrian international se-up.

‘Besian has good characteristics and can play away along the front line – I believe that he will be a great asset.

‘He is a young player with good talent but has not played for a long time in competitive football, and it will take him time to adjust to the intensity of our league.

‘But he is now available for selection straight away and we are happy to be able to give him another chance at this level.’
