Fulham boss Roy Hodgson credited Swansea City following today’s 1-1 draw in the FA Cup.

The Swans dominated most of the game and it was a typical home performance from Martinez’s men.

Hodgson was impressed and after the game he said:

‘We certainly weren’t at our best. I thought it was a jaded performance from our side.

‘All credit to Swansea, I thought their performance was excellent.

‘Their high energy passing and movement was very good and we really had to dig in very deeply and rely heavily on our defensive organisation to keep our heads afloat.’

The Cottagers took the lead luckily from an in-swinging corner. The cross wasn’t dealt with by De Vries and it rebounded off Monk and in the net.

Swansea City didn’t take long to respond as 7 minutes into the second half Jason Scotland netted the equaliser.
