Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says his chances of beating us tomorrow night in the FA Cup 5th round replay have been ‘severely hampered’.

Hodgson isn’t happy with the fixture situation, as his side play us just 2 days after beating West Brom 2-0 yesterday.

The 61 year-old may be forced to make a few changes to his side in order to keep his star players fit for the remainder of their Premiership campaign, and as a result he seems to be lacking confidence that they’ll progress to play Manchester United in the quarter-finals.

His comments are a compliment to us as he certainly sees Swansea City as a threat to their FA Cup chances. Martinez’s side dominated the Cottagers at the Liberty Stadium but hopefully we won’t rue those missed chances and fail to line-up a hugely attractive home tie against the Premiership title holders.

Hodgson told Wales Online:

‘It bothers me that we have to play on Sunday and again the following Tuesday.

‘Our chances of getting through against Swansea have been severely hampered.

‘That turnaround has given our opponents a big advantage.

‘I cannot say I am particularly delighted about the situation at all.

‘We will have to concentrate on West Brom and then do our best against Swansea. But I wouldn’t be putting too much money on the result.

‘I can’t say I’m enamoured to have to play a game on Tuesday after Sunday.

‘Two days is more dangerous than one for players.’
