Swansea City are being linked with a loan move for Manchester City youngster John Guidetti.

The 20 year-old striker has been in fine form on loan at Feyenoord last season, scoring 20 goals in just 23 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit.

Due to his impressive goalscoring form, Feyenoord are looking to extend his loan for another season. The player has expressed his desire to go back out on loan if he won’t get games at the Etihad Stadium.

Guidetti looks to be a very promising young player and it would be another coup if Brendan Rodgers managed to bring him to the Liberty Stadium on loan for next season.

The Swans benefited from loan moves last season – particularly Spurs defender Steven Caulker and Hoffenheim midfielder Gylfi Sigurddson. Rodgers wants them both to stay on for next year.
