Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says it’s more likely that Danny Graham will miss Saturday’s trip to Blackburn Rovers

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says it’s more likely that Danny Graham will miss Saturday’s trip to Blackburn Rovers.

Graham is currently in a fitness race to be fit for the game against the bottom side, as he looks to recover from an ankle injury he picked up in the 0-0 draw at home against Aston Villa last weekend.

While the striker says he is ‘hopeful’ of passing fit for the game, Rodgers says it’s looking unlikely, but they’ll assess him further closer to kick off.

‘I would say [Graham being fit] is more against than for.

‘When Danny is injured you know he is properly injured as he is old school like that.

‘I knew it was bad when he had to come off but we will assess it again tomorrow before we make a decision.’

If Danny Graham does miss the game, Leroy Lita is most likely to come in as his replacement. The other change Rodgers will be forced into making is bringing Jazz Richards for Angel Rangel, who is sidelined for a month with an ankle problem.
