Swansea City are expected to see Mark Gower and Fabio Borini shake off injury knocks to be fit for Saturday’s trip to Millwall.

Central midfielder Mark Gower missed Monday’s 4-1 home win against Ipswich with a minor ankle problem, while Fabio Borini was replaced at half time after suffering some swelling above the ankle.

Both players – key to our promotion bid via the play-offs should fully recover for Saturday. Manager Brendan Rodgers said:

Fabio had a bit of swelling just above the ankle,”

‘He could have probably kept on playing, but it was a good chance for him to have a rest.

‘And it shows the strength of the squad we have Scott Sinclair to come on from the bench.”
