Former Assistant manager Graeme Jones is the early favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers as Swansea City’s new manager.
Bookmakers suspended betting on the current Wigan Athletic assistant less than 24 hours after Brendan Rodgers stated his intentions to leave the club to take over at Anfield.
Graeme Jones was linked with the job two years ago when the Swans were looking to replace Paulo Sousa. Rodgers wasn’t barely mentioned before he was appointed in July 2010.
SkyBet said they suspended bets on Graeme Jones to become new Swansea City manager due to receiving a lot of ‘substantial bets’.
Blackpool’s Ian Holloway and Brighton’s Gus Poyet were also amongst some of the favourites.
