Nottingham Forest could affect Swansea City’s chances of keeping Paul Anderson next season on loan as reports suggest they have made a £750,000 bid for the winger.

Swans boss Roberto Martinez is still awaiting news from Premiership side Liverpool on whether Anderson will return to the Liberty Stadium next year to continue his loan spell.

Other Championship clubs have also expressed an interest in taking Anderson on loan.

Swansea’s chances of keeping the 19 year-old will be determined by whether or not the Reds are looking to sell him. If they are, they may consider Forest’s bid but if not he could well return.

Keeping him here would surely boost our chances ahead of the new campaign, as he caused all sorts of problems for full backs last season will his skill and lightning pace.

After losing one regular winger, Andy Robinson, it would be a huge blow to us if we were to lose another.
