Swansea City’s home fixture against Southampton has finally been given a new date and kick-off time after originally being postponed due to clashes with their FA Cup ties.

Both teams were playing in the quarter-finals of the cup competition on the weekend of when the game was initially scheduled to be played, on March 17th.

The new date is Tuesday 8th May at 7:45 pm. It will be shown live on Sky Sports.

This means a busy week for the Swans. On the 5th May, we travel to AFC Bournemouth before hosting Southampton just 3 days later. Then, on the following Sunday, it’s the final game of the season as we host another relegation rival in Stoke City.

So we end the season with two home games, and hopefully by then we’ll be mathematically safe, here’s a reminder of our remaining Premier League fixtures in full:

Saturday 7th April, 15:00
West Bromwich Albion (a)

Saturday 14th April, 15:00
Everton (h)

Sunday 22nd April, 16:30
Manchester City (a)

Saturday 28th April, 17:30

Saturday 5th May, 15:00

Sunday 13th May, 15:00
