Swansea City goalkeeper Lucasz Fabianski wins yet another Vital Swansea man of the match poll, his 5th of the season.

The Polish shot stopper was once again the one performer who came out of the game at Burnley last Saturday with any praise. Nathan Dyer wasn’t too bad and Wilfried Bony came on and put in a decent shift but Fabianski helped keep the score down, like he has in many of the 12 games this season so far.

Against Leicester City, Fabianski won the poll with a massive 96% of the votes. The last thing you want is your goalkeeper being your man of the match every week, but the fact that he’s won 5 already, shows you just how bad things are on the pitch.

8 of the 12 games so far have seen either a goalkeeper or defender win man of the match, with the other four being shared between Ki Sung Yueng, Tammy Abraham, Martin Olsson and Roque Mesa.

Man of the Match Leaderboard:

Lucasz Fabianski – 5
Federico Fernandez – 2
Ki Sung Yueng – 1
Tammy Abraham – 1
Martin Olsson – 1
Roque Mesa – 1
Sam Clucas – 1

In our new poll, we’d like to know what you think the result will be on Saturday when we entertain Bournemouth at the Liberty Stadium. Despite losing all but one of our 6 home games, can we get anything against Eddie Howe’s improving side? Let us know by voting in our poll and post your thoughts in the comments below.
