Nathan Dyer said that the Swansea City vs Cardiff City derby is the worst he’s played in.

The former Southampton right winger has been left out of the first team in the last few games and he’ll be itching to get back into the starting eleven tomorrow afternoon.

Nathan Dyer scored in last season’s derby match away at Ninian Park, opening the scoring for us as we drew 2-2 in a thrilling match.

Dyer told the Evening Post:

‘This is the worst derby I’ve been involved in – the hatred between the teams is massive.

‘When the bus pulled into Cardiff it was a real eye opener. I’ve been in the Sheffield derby and the Southampton-Portsmouth game too, but that was on a different scale.

‘On the pitch you can see the hatred of Swansea in the fans’ eyes. It’ll be great to shut the Cardiff fans up though, and win the game.’
