On loan winger Nathan Dyer says he wants to stay at the club he’s ‘falling in love with’.

Roberto Martinez is keen to make his move permanent and reports suggest Swansea City have moved a step closer to signing him, as Southampton are now considering our latest bid.

The Saints face relegation from the Championship and will have 10 points deducted after going into administration.

With their struggling financial situation, they will be looking to raise funds and selling Nathan Dyer could be their first step to raising a few hundred thousand.

Nathan Dyer told the Evening Post:

‘I have to wait until the summer, but it’s not down to me ? it’s down to people higher than me that have to agree on a fee,’

‘I really do hope I stay, though.

‘I’m at a club I’m falling in love with.’
