Swansea City lost 2-0 in their second and final USA Pre-Season Tour friendly against Minnesota United.

After a 1-1 draw against Chivas earlier this week – with Nathan Dyer scoring the opener before a late penalty denied the Swans of victory, Monk’s side suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat.

Nathan Dyer gifted the opener when he tried to chest the ball back to Angel Rangel to clear the ball in the penalty area. But this allowed Justin Davies to take advantage and open the scoring from close range.

A well-worked move inside the penalty area doubled their lead before half time. Eight changes from Monk at half time couldn’t inspire a comeback.
