Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries says he is confident about his defence ahead of tomorrow’s derby game against Cardiff City.

Swansea City have experienced a poor run of form lately and our defence hasn’t been as solid as it was earlier on in the season.

The Dutch shot stopper won our Player of the Month poll for March, after making a number of key saves as he helped us to get draws at Derby and Sheffield Wednesday.

De Vries said:

‘My defence can handle anyone,’

‘We coped really well with Cardiff in the last two games.

‘And I have a lot of confidence in the players in front of me. We showed on numerous occasions we can deal with good strikers.’

Ashley Williams will be looking to put his last performance behind him. He conceded an own goal as Germany beat Wales 2-0 at the Millenium Stadium.
