Swansea City coach and legend Alan Curtis said on Sky Sports News this evening that he will not follow Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool.

The former player and current coach, who takes charge of the Reserves team, was briefly interrupted on holiday as Sky Sports News asked for his views on the imminent departure of manager Brendan Rodgers.

He was then asked the big question if he’d follow Rodgers to Liverpool if he asked him to. Curtis said that ‘Swansea City is my club, I’ve been here 30 years’ and that he couldn’t leave.

Curtis also joked: ‘I can’t leave, I’m the only one who knows where the kettle is!’

A rare case of loyalty in football, and for that he will always be thought of as a true Swansea City legend.
