Swansea City assistant coach Alan Curtis believes winning a major cup trophy at Wembley would beat anything else the club has achieved in their history.

Alan Curtis, who was part of the Swansea team that enjoyed their first rise through the Leagues to the top in the early 80’s, says winning the Capital One Cup would beat that and their recent rise to the Premier League.

Not only that, but he thinks a Cup win would make the players modern legends of Swansea City.

‘These guys will go down as legends of this club,’ he said.

‘If we can win the final it will be the biggest achievement in the club’s 100-year history.

‘Getting into the First Division years ago and winning promotion to the Premier League was phenomenal.

‘But if you can win a major trophy at Wembley, then that would top it.

‘It is beyond our wildest dreams.’

The Swans will enjoy a second final at Wembley in under 2 years having won the Championship Play-Off final there in May 2011.
