Dwight Tiendalli has completed a loan move to Championship side Middlesbrough, but could he and Jazz Richards be surplus to requirements in the Summer?

Both right sided full backs have barely had a look in the first team this season. Tiendalli has struggled due to an injury at the start of the season, while Jazz Richards struggled when playing a handful of games in place of Angel Rangel.

Kyle Naughton, who signed in January from Spurs, has instantly come in as the club’s new first choice right back, relegating Angel Rangel down to the bench.

So where does this leave Dwight Tiendalli and Jazz Richards?

You’d be hard pushed to find many fans who believe the pair are good enough for us at Premier League level.

Richards is currently on loan at Fulham, with Tiendalli also not needed, you wonder if the defenders will be part of Monk’s clearing out job in the Summer.

You wouldn’t expect many players to leave at the end of the season, but neither player will get near the first team next year either so you have to wonder if their time is up at the Liberty Stadium.

Should both players leave this Summer? Or are they good enough to fight for their place? Let us know via the comments below…
