Swansea City are hopeful that Leon Britton is available for selection when they travel to Manchester City in a fortnight’s time.

The fans’ favourite has been out of action since pre-season with a knee injury, but after returning to training recently, he could be match fit to feature at the Etihad Stadium on November 22nd – providing he doesn’t suffer any setbacks in the meantime.

There’s also good news for defensive duo Dwight Tiendalli and Jordi Amat who are also boosting their fitness following their returns to training. Amat’s injury suffered at Chelsea paved the way for Federico Fernandez to make his full debut, and despite adjusting to a new League, he has performed consistently alongside Ashley Williams in defence.
