Another potential candidate for the Swansea manager’s job could be ruled out of the running as it seems Chris Coleman is committed to staying at Coventry City.
Steve Coppell has ruled himself out of returning to the game this year after resigning as Reading boss last month.
|“I would think that Darren Ferguson would do a good job.”|
Chris Coleman has naturally been linked with the job as he is a former player and was born in Swansea but he is likely to stay at Coventry.
QPR approached them about having talks with the former Fulham boss but Ray Ranson said:
QPR’s Chairman Gianni Paladini approached us last week and asked for permission to speak to Chris and I said ‘no, I spoke to Chris and he said he wasn’t interested in going anywhere.
‘It just goes to show what a good manager we have got here – I said that when I first appointed Chris that our problem would be keeping hold of him.
‘The interest from other clubs and speculaton shows what a good job he is doing – he is a top class manager and a good bloke.’
Falkirk boss John Hughes has replaced Coleman has favourite to take over as our new manager.
