Dave Jones shares his views as his Cardiff City side beat the Swans in yesterday’s derby.

Michael Chopra got the goals for the Bluebirds to give them their first South Wales derby win in 13 years.

‘We’ve had tough games against them, they’re a very good side.

‘We probably caught Paulo out a little bit with our formation. We changed it around because they’ve caused us problems in the past.

‘I feel we’ve got just as good players on the ball as their midfield, but the most important thing for us is we know we can score goals.

‘It’s an important three points but I haven’t changed anything or done anything differently.

”People say I play it (the derby) down, but it was nice to get the three points more than anything. Then the bragging rights and everything else can follow.

”It’s a massive win but it wasn’t about Swansea, it’s all about the points.

”People can focus on what they want but I don’t give that two hoots.

”Sometimes the passion can overrun, you get people sent off and then it’s hard, especially against a team like Swansea that keeps the ball.

”If they think I don’t care I’m not in the mood to change that attitude.

”All I care about is this football club, those players in that dressing room and those supporters because they deserve it.’
