Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez is plotting the return of young Striker Fabien Brandy to the Liberty Stadium next season

On Loan from premiership leaders Manchester United the diminutive striker has scored two goals for the club. Martinez will be hoping that Sir Alex Ferguson will see a season in the Championship as vital part in the players development.

Brandy has found opportunities limited since joining the club on loan on transfer deadline day, making the majority of appearances as a substitute. In his short Swansea City career to date the striker has also been sent off in the 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers, that was marred by an altercation in the tunnel.

Unwavering in his belief that the youngster has potentially premiership ability, Martinez believes that Brandy has achieved a major milestone in his career .

Martinez Told The SWEP:

“”First and foremost you have to see what the players think in these situations.”

“They have to decide whether they’ve enjoyed their time with us, if they feel they’ve progressed and if they think we can give them the next challenge in their careers.

f they do, we as a club will be delighted to have Febian and Paul with us next season.”

“They settled straight into our squad, they brought something different on the pitch and they both conducted themselves like role models.” “He has had huge success with us because he has mastered the role he’s played. He scored some important goals and he has always had an impact in games.”

“His most mature performance came against Carlisle, and we got exactly what we expected from Febian when we signed him. Potentially he is a Premier League player, he has got that in his genes, and he could not have taken his first few steps in senior football more successfully. He has achieved some career milestones with Swansea City.”

Brandy is expected to to feature in Roberto Martinez`s Squad for the last fixture of the season against Brighton on Saturday..
