Swansea City’s in-form striker Wilfried Bony was the clear winner of our recent Man of the Match poll, receiving a massive 82% of the votes.

After a promising opening half hour from the Swans against Spurs last Sunday, they reacted poorly to the visitor’s opening goal and struggled for the final 60 minutes of the game.

Bony was the only player to come out of the game with any real credit. The 25 year-old worked hard throughout, held the ball up well and scored a superb goal after 78 minutes, but it was too little too late for the Swans as the game finished 3-1.

Second place in the poll was Leon Britton with 7%, followed by goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel (6%).
