Ferrie Bodde is hoping he’ll be reunited with Darren Pratley tonight, and the Dutchman says he’s the best midfield partner he’s ever played with.

The former Den Haag player has missed the last few games after picking up a hip injury in training, but he’s back and raring to go again.

Pratley is back after a 1-match ban and Bodde came on as a substitute during Tuesday’s 1-0 win at home to Yeovil in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Ferrie Bodde praised Pratley and said:

‘Prats is a very good player and I enjoy playing with him,”

‘He plays with an unbelievable amount of energy and is not afraid to get in where it hurts.

‘I also think we compliment each other well. We make each other better players.

‘In fact, he’s the best partner I’ve ever played with.”

‘I’m feeling strong and fit to play a whole game again,”

‘It’s been frustrating watching from the sidelines, especially having started to score some goals as well for the club.

‘Having scored in consecutive games, I was desperate to keep it going. I’m really enjoying my football over here and I still believe there’s a lot more to come from me.”
