Swansea City have filled the vacant Goalkeeping Coach position with the arrival of Iñaka Bergara.

Bergara has played at the highest levels of the game in Spain with spells at Real Sociadad and Depotivo Alaves.Bergara has already begun his work at the club.

Swansea City legend Alan Curtis has also been given a new role. Curtis will oversee the development of players from the Youth ranks to the Senior set up.

Martinez on his new arivals
From The South Wales Evening Post:

‘I am really pleased as Alan will do a great job and Iñaka has a great pedigree and knowledge of the game.’

Alan’s role is a gap in British football – we hope this will play a huge part in helping our young players progress in their careers.

‘Iñaka will work with Dorus and our young keepers and I am confident he will do a great job.’

It is good news that Alan Curtis is back in the playing side of the club. His talents have been wasted in the commercial side of the club.
