Guillem Bauza seems to be finally pushing for a League start after his recent excellent form in cup competitions.

The Spanish striker has even found it difficult to get on the substitutes bench with the likes of Scotland, Feeney and Duffy at the club.

The former Espanyol player has been bottom in the pecking order but boss Roberto Martinez says:

‘Football makes the decision who plays, but he is slowly working his way into contention for a League place.”

‘Bussy is really enjoying his football at the moment,”

‘His first goal at Billericay relaxed him and tonight’s header was a typical goalscorer’s goal because he was in the right place at the right time.

Bauza seemed to struggle when he first arrived but it’s excellent to see we have another player who has proved he can compete for a League start.
