His Time At Swansea

Andy Legg was Born in Neath in 1966. He holds 6 welsh caps and started his career at Briton Ferry Athletic.

He Moved to the Vetch Field 1988. He was a firm favorite amongst the vetch faithful me included and he was my favorite player as a child growing up.

I can remember his passing ability was good and he commanded well at the back.

He amassed 155 league appearances for the club and scored 28 goals in all competions.

He left the club in 1993 for £ 275.000 to Notts County.

Where is he Now?

Andy had 3 seasons with Notts County before moving to Birmingham city for £250,000 from 1995-1998. In 1997 he had a short spell on loan at Ipswich and in 1998 moved on again to Reading for £75,000.Moves to Peterborough, Cardiff City and Llanelli Beckoned, however in 2005 Andy went under the knife to combat Cancer. He is now with Hucknall Town playing in the conference North.
