On loan Liverpool winger Paul Anderson is unsure on whether he’ll be playing for Swansea City next season.

The winger returned yesterday for the visit of Leyton Orient and it didn’t take him long to prove the quality he adds to the side when he plays.

With 18 minutes played, the young scouser took advantage of a defensive error, sped towards goal, cut inside before unleashing a left footed strike that flew into the left hand corner.

Martinez is very keen to extend his loan spell into next season where all parties will benefit – Liverpool will see if he’s capable of playing at the higher level, Anderson will continue playing and enjoying regular first team football and the Swans will have a quality player in their squad.

Anderson has previously said how much he’s enjoyed his time in South Wales but he’s still unsure where’ll he be next year.

He told BBC Sport:

‘I really enjoy playing for Swansea so you never know. I don’t know what my situation is.

‘I go back to Liverpool in a week and will have to sit down with them to see what they want from me.’

‘We’re a great footballing side for a side in a lower division and winning the championship is well-deserved. We feel like champions.’

‘We have to focus on next weekend and make sure we win whatever the Leeds verdict.’
