Kemy Agustien says he’d like to stay at Swansea City as he has ‘unfinished business’ with the club.

The Dutch midfielder has been plagued with injuries since he joined the club in September 2010.

He impressed when on trial during the Dutch Summer Tour, but he struggled for first team games due to injuries and lack of fitness.

Agustien started this season well. He was in the first team but an ankle injury ended his promising spell.

However, he’s looking to stay to win his first team place back with the Premier League side.

‘I’d like to stay,”

‘Me and Swansea City have got unfinished business.”

Agustien joined Crystal Palace on loan a year ago, and he says it was one of the best choices he’s made, apart from joining the Swans of course:

‘That was one of the best choices I’ve made,”

‘I could have stayed at Swansea and sat on the sidelines, but I went to Palace and played eight games there straight away at the end of the season.

‘I thought I did very well and picked up a few man-of-the-match awards. More importantly it really improved my fitness.

It gave me a base to work on over the summer so that when I returned to Swansea this season I was fully fit and ready to push for a Premier League place.

‘I started sharp and fresh and I thought I did well in the opening few games as we found our feet in the Premier League.”

‘I hope I’ve shown over the 15 games this season that I can be a useful player for Swansea City,”

‘Like I said, I have unfinished business here. Swansea are doing something great; something special; and I want to be part of it next season.”
