Swansea City are set to begin contract talks with trialist Kemy Agustien, who has impressed during the Holland Tour.

The Dutch midfielder has mixed with the squad very easily and it didn’t take him long to show his quality in the opening game against Haaglandia.

He looks very confident and comfortable in possession and has a good range of passes which always helps our style of football.

Despite never being a regular goalscorer, Agustien got his first goal for the club in the second game against VC Sparta, netting one of the 9 goals in a thrashing 9-1 win. He curled a superb shot into the top right corner.

Chairman Huw Jenkins says that the club are set to have talks:

‘We will be meeting Kemy and his representatives over the next few days to talk through the options that may exist with him,’

‘He has come in and done well, and it’s up to Brendan to decide now how he will fit into the squad.

‘It’s a possibility that he will come back to Swansea with us so he can work with us next week.’
