Kemy Agustien won’t be fit for another 6 weeks, which means there’ll be a further delay to his permanent move to Swansea City.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has been looking to sign the Dutch midfielder ever since his successful trial during the Holland Tour at the end of July, but a knee injury he suffered in his last game has delayed a move to the club ever since.

There were reports this week that he had arrived in Swansea to discuss a move, but after assessing his fitness ahead of a required fitness test, it’s emerged that he won’t be fit enough to undergo the test for another 6 weeks.

It comes as a big blow for Brendan Rodgers, who is also unable to sign Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury on loan as he is also injured for another 6 weeks.

Despite the bad news, it doesn’t rule out a move for Agustien as the Evening Post reports that Rodgers is still interested in signing the 23 year-old when he’s fully recovered.
