Striker Pawel Abbott has praised his new boss Roberto Martinez and says he’s already made an impact at the club.

He said: ‘Having three managers in such a short space of time was obviously a bit unsettling.

‘But the gaffer had a one-on-one chat to every player when he arrived and we all know what is expected of us.

‘He’s had a big impact since he arrived. Every single player is fully behind him and we want the same things.

‘Swansea is a club that should be in the Championship and I am confident he can take us there.’

Meanwhile, Swansea Reserves are in action Wednesday night as they take on Cheltenham Town at Port Talbot’s Remax Stadium, kicking off at 7pm.

Garry Monk is hoping to play his first full 90 minute match since last August.
