South Wales Police have revealed that 27 arrests were made following violence after Swansea`s 1-0 Carling Cup victory over local rivals Cardiff City.

30 images of men police were keen to speak to were issued last month, and since then seven men have been charged. Seventeen have been bailed pending further inquiries, two released with no action taken and a further two identified but not yet questioned.

A further eleven photographs of men have been released in a bid to identify them.

A spokesman said: ‘There are a total of 11 males outstanding whose photographs were originally circulated and are yet to be to be identified.

‘Officers are urging the remaining 11 individuals concerned or anyone who is able to identify any of them to make contact with Swansea Police.’
