Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley will serve a 2-match suspension after picking up his 10th yellow card on Saturday against Port Vale.
He lunged in on a player, and despite missing him completely the referee booked him for what I’d imagine was dangerous play.
Therefore, he’ll miss the away game at Nottingham Forest on the 29th and the home game against Oldham on 2nd February.
Despite a rather poor start to the season where he received criticism from some of the fans, he has vastly improved as of late and his energy and determination has been excellent.
He capped off a good performance on Saturday with our second goal.
We also welcomed Ferrie Bodde back after his 5-match ban so Pratley’s absence shouldn’t affect us.
Roberto Martinez has a number of options to replace Pratley. Robinson was benched on Saturday and could return to midfield, he also has Kristian O’Leary and Joe Allen.
